An air conditioner in Dubai works harder than one almost anywhere else. It runs most of the year, often round the clock through summer, and it pulls in fine sand along with the air. That combination is why units here need servicing on a schedule rather than when something goes wrong, and why a neglected system loses cooling long before it actually breaks.

AC repair in Dubai
Most call-outs start the same way: it’s running but the room isn’t getting cold. Sometimes that’s gas, sometimes it’s a choked coil, sometimes it’s a capacitor or the thermostat, and occasionally it’s the compressor. The point of the visit is to find out which before anyone spends money.
Our technician diagnoses on site and gives you the fault, the fix and the price together. If it’s worth repairing you’ll be told, and if the unit is old enough that repair is throwing money at it, you’ll be told that too. Common jobs we handle: no cooling, water leaking from the indoor unit, ice forming on the coil, tripping breakers, loud rattles and a system that switches itself off after a few minutes.
Emergency AC repair when the unit dies in summer
Between May and September a failed air conditioner isn’t an inconvenience, it’s a room you can’t sleep in. We hold emergency slots for exactly this, including evenings and weekends. Call, describe what it’s doing, and we’ll tell you honestly whether it needs someone tonight or whether it can wait until morning.
AC servicing by system type
Split systems are the bulk of what’s installed in Dubai homes. Service covers filters, indoor and outdoor coils, blower wheel, drain line and gas pressure.
Ducted and central systems in larger villas and offices need the air handling unit checked, along with thermostat zoning and airflow at each outlet. This is where rooms end up unevenly cooled and everyone blames the thermostat.
Ceiling cassettes in shops and clinics hide their drain pump above the ceiling, so a small fault stays invisible until it stains the tiles.
Window units are simple but they choke quickly, and once the coil is blocked they draw current without cooling much.
AC maintenance contracts and annual plans
Most of our commercial clients and a good share of villa owners run a contract rather than calling when something fails. Two or three planned visits a year, filters and coils cleaned before summer load, gas and drains checked, faults caught while they’re still cheap.
It also flattens the cost. Emergency call-outs in peak summer are the expensive way to run a system, and they always land at the worst moment.
AC cleaning and duct services
Cleaning the unit itself is part of every service visit, coils, filters, blower and drain. If airflow is weak at the outlets, or there’s dust blowing out when the system starts, that’s the page you want.
Why maintenance is cheaper than repair here
A clogged filter makes the system work harder for less cooling, and you pay for that every month on the bill before anything actually fails. Dust on the coil does the same. Low refrigerant makes the compressor run hot, and a compressor is the single most expensive part in the system.
None of this announces itself. The unit keeps running, just worse and more expensively, until something gives. A service visit costs a fraction of what the failure costs.
